Im buying my mom a coffee maker because she’s been wanting that but im not sure what to get my dad? Something cheap but nice (- ) ? Any suggestions?

I got an expresso machine that has a steamer on ot but i dont know what the h*ll to do with it…… I cant find a website that has recipies for coffee shops

I got a Capresso-Jura Espresso machine for 9 from Macys down from 0. I read great reviews about this machine and it seems better than DeLonghi. Is it true that the parts are from Switzerland and they just assembled it in China as this is what a stores associate told me. It seems like it is built like the more expensive super automatic machines. By the way it doesn’t say that it can accept ESE pods but can you put them in the portafilter that I bought at Starbucks? Thanks for your opinions regarding the machine. I think I got a good machine for the money.

learn how to make a cappuccino,

Wondering if there are refillable coffee filters for the handpresso WILD espresso machine. Considering buying one but not really interested if I cant use my own coffee. I have seen some web tutorials for how to make your own E.S.E. Filters, but it would be nice if there was a refillable (non-disposable) filter I could use. I’ve looked and there don’t appear to be any specifically for this product but if anyone knows if others fit, I would appreciate it. Thank you!

3 of us (all female) were having coffee yesterday. 1 was talking about her choice to stay home & lead a more ‘traditional’ lifestyle. The other really slammed her for setting feminism back 50 years.

I was like – ‘um no. Nobody TOLD her she had to stay home & be a home maker. She chose to. That’s what it was all about, freedom of choice to do what you want with your life & not let somebody else tell you what you were gonna do’

So, I got slammed next. Am I wrong? Does feminism not equal choice, does it have to mean a career & working outside the home?

This has been bugging me since yesterday…do I really not get it or what?
@ Alex – oddly enough I’m our family’s breadwinner. My guy is taking a break to ‘find himself’ – but since rants aren’t allowed on Y!A, I’d better get off that topic before I violate the TOS (kids in daycare, not doing the household chores…no clue what he does all day, LOL)
