can i use Vietnamese butter roasted coffee in an espresso machine?

I have a new Delonghi coffee machine and I also have some vietnamese coffee which has a delicious hazelnut taste. I used to mix it with Italian coffee grounds and use it in my old espresso machine.
I guess I am concerned because the Vietnamese coffee I have is butter roasted. Don’t want to gum anything up.
Thanks for answering.

Hi! jennimhk,
Yes, you can use Vietnamese butter roasted coffee in espresso coffee machine.
Roasting coffee beans will determine the taste. Espresso coffee bean is darker then normal roasted coffee bean.
I don’t see why not, the only difference with regular coffee and espresso is espresso beans are dark roasted beans and regular coffee is normally low-medium roasted beans.
