Can you make ground coffee without a coffee maker?
Meaning, I bought regular ground coffee and do not have a coffee machine (it is not instant coffee)… Is there a way to make it without having floaties or without a coffee machine??
Thanks in advance ![]()
Dayle, sorry, what is a French press? LOL!! My family are not coffee drinkers, so I’m new to a lot of this (if that’s not already obvious!!)

Take a funnel and line it with either a coffee filter or a paper towel. 1 tablespoon of coffee for each cup should be put into the paper towel or coffee filter.
Then boil some water and pour the boiled water over the coffee grounds into the cup (or a pan, then pour the coffee into a cup).
I’ve done it this way many times and it works just fine. Just be sure not to pour the water into the funnel too fast or it will not empty as fast, then you will get the grouns into the coffee (ie, crunchy coffee…lol)
I hope this helps!
The only other way, I can think of, if you had a french press.
if you don’t want to take the time and patience to brew or drain your coffee, you can always put some in an empty tea bag, or in a coffee filter with a rubber band (just make sure only the covered end is in the cup) and brew the cup of coffee like a cup of tea. it may not be as strong as if you brewed it in a coffee machine, but it will get the job done.
