Making a latte with a Nespresso Lattissima

I tested the video function of my camera by making this quick video that shows how a Nespresso Lattissima makes lattes. Maybe I’ll make another that shows it making plain espresso later, or one that shows how I make a cappuccino (instead of using the automatic functions I use it slightly differently).

Nice video!! It seems to be a very good coffee machine, but I found the price too expensive and didn’t buy it!! How did it cost in the country you come from??
Thanks! I think it was $450 from Amazon.com.
How are you finding your machine after a few months use?
@acane71 It’s fine! I like it a lot and it still works great.
You called this in the beginning a Latte Macchiato. There is clearly no such thing. What you made was a latte. A macchiato is espresso with a dab of milk.
@Deerector No. A caffé macchiato (also called an espresso macchiato) IS an espresso with a dab of milk. That part is true. But a latte macchiato is essentially milk marked with espresso. It’s sort of the reverse of a caffé macchiato. See Latte_macchiato on Wikipedia for a clarification.
Usually when people say “macchiato” by itself, they are referring to a caffé macchiato. Unless they are at Starbucks and referring to that caramel macchiato thing they serve there.
