A good friend of mine is hesitant about getting a coffee machine, wanting to spend £500+ on an all singing, all dancing version. The DeLonghi EC330 was £85 when I bought it in 2009 and makes excellent coffee. It’s all about the barista!

We like our cappuccinos hot. So when I make them at home, I cheat and warm the milk in the coffee cup and then make the foam in the coffee cup before pouring the coffee through.
